Questioning himself
Julian often questioned whether he had made the right decision to leave. Late at night, he found himself pacing the floor, replaying the past in his mind.
No other explanation seemed valid, but something still didn’t feel right. Whenever doubts crept in, he quickly suppressed them, convincing himself he had done the only thing he could.
“There was no other explanation,” he’d mutter to himself, trying to find solace in his decisions.
