Ursula Andress, a Swiss-German actress, starred as Honey Rider in the 1962 James Bond film “Dr. No.” Honey is a local shell diver who sells seashells from Jamaica to dealers in Miami.
Andress landed the role just two weeks before filming began, after the producers saw a photo of her taken by her then-husband, John Derek.
To look more Jamaican for the part, Andress received a spray tan, and her thick Swiss-German accent was dubbed over by another voice actress.
