Comfort That Didn’t Feel Right
The mattress was soft—almost too soft.
At night, I sank into it. Turning over required effort. Adjusting my position meant climbing out of a small impression my body had made.
I didn’t notice it at first, but my sleep became fragmented. I was technically “in bed” for hours, yet mornings still felt unfinished.
By afternoon, I relied on coffee just to stay focused. By evening, I felt drained again.
What confused me most was this: I had done everything right. I bought the best option. I followed the advice.
So why did something feel off?
That question stayed with me—right up until a casual conversation changed the way I looked at sleep entirely.
