Slinking Away
Sarah was ready to defend herself, but that’s when she noticed that the snake wasn’t going for her. It was going for the rat. It barely managed to escape through a hole in her fence. Defeated, the snake slinked away.
Sarah had no idea where it went, but she wasn’t going to wait around to find out. However, later, it would spell trouble for her plan for revenge. It seemed that Sarah wasn’t the only one who could smell the compost that she had used in her garden.
