‘She’s clean, Mike,’ his partner Eric relayed over the radio. This didn’t sit well with Michael. ‘There’s something off,’ he murmured into the mic, keeping his eyes on her car as it sped down the highway.
The station buzzed with static before Eric responded, ‘Stay on her, let’s see where she goes.’
