Melissa Gilbert & Timothy Busfield — Together For 7 Years
Melissa Gilbert has can really say that third time’s the charm. After two failed marriages, she finally seemed to have found her ideal husband in Timothy Busfield, who is an Emmy winning actor for his role in the show Thirtysomething. Busfield admits he’s smitten with Gilbert.
Busfield, who has also been married twice, revealed that he first encountered Gilbert when he and The Magicians creator John McNamara pitched a movie to her in the ’80s or ’90s. He says she wasn’t interested in him or the film, but eventually got his chance and made sure he made her his wife.
