Lieutenant Angela Davies was the most experienced diver on the crew. Without hesitation, she volunteered to lead the first dive. Two more crew members, Mark and Tomas, suited up as well. They tightened straps and checked their air tanks. The rest of the team stood ready at the rail, anxious to see what they would find.
