Richard Simmons was born in 1948 in Louisiana. During the ‘80s, he was at the peak of his career. His gym called SLIMMONS was flourishing, and his video cassettes, Sweatin’ to the Oldies were selling well. Having gone through a drastic weight transformation himself, he was the perfect person to guide others through it too!
His last public appearance was in 2017. He has been enjoying his privacy in his $6-million home in Beverly Hills ever since. There’s been a lot of speculation regarding his appearance these days, and he’s been persistent in avoiding the limelight! Since 2020 he’s been uploading old workout videos on his YouTube channel.
