Late one evening, after Harold had returned from another round of snow-clearing, Edith decided it was time to address her growing unease. As they settled into their cozy living room, surrounded by the warmth of the fireplace, she mustered the courage to broach the subject.
“Harold,” she began tentatively, “I’ve noticed you’ve been spending an awful lot of time shoveling Sherie’s sidewalk. Is there something you’re not telling me?”
