Inside the compartment, Daniel saw several boxes arranged neatly, stacked with care. Thick dust coated their surfaces, undisturbed for many years. Nothing was damaged or scattered. Everything appeared exactly as it had been left.
The careful arrangement suggested purpose. Whoever hid these items hadn’t been trying to discard them. They had wanted them preserved—kept safe from time, weather, and discovery.
